On the Skye Trail
Bayview is an ideal location for Skye trailers as it is actually right on the trail. Many of our Skye trailing guests stay for 2 nights if you are going north to south we offer a taxi service to pick you up from Torrin and return to the house at the end of your second day and then to return you to Torrin again in the Morning. This allows you to relax for 2 nights. We can also do bag tranfers to Broadford and even pick up bags from Sligachan. Contact us for more information.
Cosy and Comfy
The house and rooms are decorated with pine which makes it cosy and relaxing. Sit by the wood burning stove and enjoy the fantastic sea views. Enjoy a dram and perhaps hear a story or two. The house was fully modernised in 2016 by your hosts. We have a good stock of books to read and WIFI for you to keep up to date with information if required.
What we offer
Excellent local knowledge, high quality ensuite rooms with superb sea views. We can help plan your adventures while you stay in Skye. You may even hear the bagpipes in the house and take the chance to wander down our croft. We have drying facilites, bike sheds and a place to hang up your outdoor gear and good parking. The village has cafes and a shop and the world famous boat trips. Stay a day or two and enjoy a boat trip and some local walking.
Eating out in Elgol
1/ There is a small shop called the Elgol Shop that provides local seafood sandwiches and soups etc during the day and stocks a range of grocieries and hand made local crafts.
2/ The Elgol Bistro provides traditional bistro food. They have a pizza oven and it is best to book via there FB page as they get busy.
3/Courisk House is a fine dinning restaurant that requires pre - booking. Selection of fine wines etc.
